Teachers

Raquel Rosario

In 2002 I began practicing yoga as a form of physical exercise and learned that the practice offered more than a workout for the body. Through completing my teacher training studies at ISHTA yoga in 2010, I learned yogic philosophy which helped me to understand why some practices left me feeling energized and empowered while others left me feeling calm and nurtured. I developed a greater understanding of what I needed to feel balanced in a class on a particular day, and I teach in hopes of passing on that same discernment to others.

In my classes I explain the physical and energetic qualities of yoga poses and suggest variations so that you are able to individualize your practice in a group setting.
